I am getting way too many eggs to Incubate

This Auction is for 12+ any extras I get Shipping will be $15.00 Priority***I want the eggs to be as fresh as possible SO I WILL BE SHIPPING THEM ON MONDAY MARCH 28TH . I ship priority mail.

Chicks Hatched last week from this flock (Sorry for the grainy image its from my cell phone)

In this pen I have 3 Black Ameraucana hens, 1 Lavender Rooster, 1 Lavender Hen[All from John Blehm] and 6 Pullets (Black or Lavender Splits )
I would rather sell these eggs to someone to incubate.

You may get a few Lavenders in the hatch, but you will get mostly Blacks and Black/Lavender Splits.
They all lay nice beautiful Blue eggs, the Lavender girl lays a blue egg with a green tint.

I will send the largest eggs I get.

As with all hatching eggs I cannot guarantee hatchability due to shipping, climate, and incubation methods. As we are all aware with shipped eggs it is mostly in the handling of the package.
I just shipped some to Arizona and happy to report they all arrived safe and intact.

Lavender Ameraucanas are an ongoing project. I am breeding mine with Black hens to bring up the size of the bird and the egg, and keep great feather quality in MY LAVENDERS . My birds all have the proper leg color, hens have great combs, the Lavender Roo has a 3 Row pea Comb which could be smaller..but that why these black hens help the lavender breed.

Your white bird looks like Splash. White Ameraucanas are solid white all over. I don't see Splash as often as other Ameraucana colors, so it's nice to see people raising them.

I am very aware of the difference in Recessive white, Dominate white and Splash. I have BBS Ameraucanas also so I know how the genetics work..Splash looks VERY different from this bird.

Here is an explanation of the Dominate white gene. This explanation is from an Ameraucana Breeder who actually has been breeding Ameraucanas since 1980 or so, he helped get Ameraucanas accepted as a breed.

Recessive white when crossed with a color gives you a bird showing only color but carrying white.Dominate white when crossed with a color gives you a white bird showing some of that color.In this case black since lavender is black with 2 copies of the gene that turns it lavender.Since they are split carrying one copy of the lavender gene the color you see will be black.Dominate white is easier to remove from a bloodline since all carriers will show white.******************************************

I am honest when posting any eggs for sale that is why I put her picture in because she is in the pen and you could get an egg from her. I think of it as an added bonus because you can see which chicks came from her when they hatch and they are different.

I am not looking to get rich from eggs, but I want to offer what I cannot incubate for others to enjoy as I very much enjoy mine.

Yes, she is split for lavender. I plan on putting her with a separate line later when I sell some of my other breeds. I think she is a neat addition to my flock. I bought her as a chick with some other Ameraucanas, I haven't figured out which egg is even hers, they are all the same color and shape. So I fugured what the heck, it can't hurt a thing.

I just hatched some chicks from these eggs, the aren't quite a week old. I got 3 Black/splits, 3 Lavender, and 1 White Chick. With the ratio of hens, that is correct. There are 3 LF Black hens in this pen, 1 Lavender Rooster, 1 Lavender Hen, The White hen, and several Black Pullets that are lav splits.

Figured I'd give this a try and see if I get the odd color.

Bred back to Lav I'll be able to get more Lavs at the same time adding to my blacks which I haven't been doing.
