Americana is a fancy name for EEs. It’s a way hatcheries and feed stores trick you into thinking they are true amerucaunasI thought EE and Americanas were the same. Ameraucanas are different right?
I've heard good things about their chicks.Thank you guys so much! That’s a relief! We got them from rural king.

Both are females, but are not Ameraucanas.Ok I bought these 2 Ameraucana chickens 19 weeks ago as pullets supposedly. The darker one (first pic) is most definitely a hen and she is so much more social than the other. The lighter one is looking more like a cockerel. What do you guys think? Not my first chickens but first time with this breed! *Side note, neither is laying or crowing.
Thanks in advance!
