I figure there is a 99% chance she is an EE, just curious! Got her from Concord Feed in Dublin. The other chick was listed as a Blue Australorp.

Hi,

I've heard that sometimes the legs change color as birds grow. If that is true it might be an Ameraucana. A lot seems to depend on color of feathers, conformation, and egg color.

I don't have the experience to know any of that from a chick.

It's an Easter egger for sure. The brown striped chipmunk pattern is not present in true Ameraucanas. Also, anywhere that is selling true Ameraucanas will give a color variety before the breed name, like black Ameraucana, wheaten Ameraucana, etcetera.

Great! I heard they were really good layers. It will be exciting to see what color she ends up laying.

Easter eggers. They are fun!

If you want a real Ameraucana, the only online hatcheries that I know of that carries true Ameraucanas are: My pet chicken, Meyers and Cackle but they sell them at a ridiculous price. http://fowlstuff.com/FAbout.html is by John Blem, one of the original breeders of Ameraucanas, but the min. order is 25.

I would join Facebook groups such as Real Ameraucana Marketplace or Real Ameraucana Group and connect with people who would know/experts about Ameraucanas. They are a closed group, so you have to ask to join.

http://ameraucanaalliance.org/faq.html is also a good start to learn about them.

Sometimes people post them on Craigslist, but be wary. Ask questions and get good photos to verify if it's the real deal. http://ameraucanaalliance.org/photos.html has images of the different colors and what they should look like.
