10 years old. Wow! That's amazingWell, it looks like a pullet to me. I see no shiny, pointy saddle feathers at all. I actually have a splash Ameraucana hen, though she is over 10 years old now.

Actually, she is not my oldest hen. I have a black Ameraucana who is turning 11 years old next month and a Barred Rock hen who will be 12 years old in the spring. In fact, there are a few others from 8-10+ years of age- I seem to be running an Old Hens' Retirement Home & Hospice.
