Fingers crossed it's a hen... she's absolutely beautiful however she's getting what looks like spurs now and acts very spastic when in the brooder. She is about 3 and a half weeks. We have her with another chick who is completely calm and doesn't fly around and peck at everything???!!!

That much comb at this age could well be cockerel, but I'm not saying for sure yet.

that straight comb and clean face do say the bird is not an Ameraucana, though, sorry.

Not seeing an Ameraucana here -- the single comb and lack of facial feathering point in other directions.
Can you get a photo of the bird in a natural, standing position that shows the whole bird from the side?

It's not an Ameraucana. Pullets get little nubs the same as cockerels, and they grow with age. Most very old hens have full on spurs. But, as Donrae said, the amount of comb could definitely point to a cockerel. (S)he could still be a pullet, though.

We got her at Rural King... the only reason we grabbed her was because of her grey colors! However she was the only grey "americauna" in the bin so now I'm wondering what she may be. I will put up a picture later today of her feathers and her standing. Thank you all very, very much... hoping it's a she!!!
