Here is a link to the Utah club. http://www.utahfancypoultry.org/ They have a show coming up the end of October.

Wow, had no idea..thanks...now, if I can make it. I just got "the" call from my neuro that I've been waiting for. Need a fusion in my neck.

We weren't quite sure, was waiting for results, now for the fun. I am going to Bookmark your post. Has some info on it that I can look at. Thanks again!
Hey, Farmington isn't that far from us, just up north about an hr. and a half drive. I wonder if it's in the big Amusement Park..Lagoon.

Cynthia12, I don't know your problem but I went to a chiropractor with an awful neck and he kept me from having surgery!

Eight week old cutie update. Wanna play Cockerel or Pullet with me?

#1 Cockerel is my guess

#2 Hoping this one is a pullet

#3 Not a very friendly one. Can't get a good pic.

I'm gonna say cockerel, cockerel, and the unfriendly one is a pullet.

My least friendliest are always pullets, plus my previous cockerel Poseidon looked exactly like your second one shown. Hawk-hooded eyes, dark head, and concealed comb; which actually grew to a VERY nice perfect, tight, well arranged pea comb.

I was suspicious of the unfriendly one being a pullet. I'm in

with #2 and won't be able to keep "him" - makes me sad. He looks at me as if he's asking to be picked up. Same with #1 too.

Been a lurker on this thread for a while. Relatively new to chickens, bought hatchery "ameraucanas" then found BYC and bought a few breeder ameraucanas because I really wanted blue eggs! I've been looking at pics, especially in this thread, just trying to learn a little about the ameraucana standard and figured I'd get some input on one of mine. I've got a thick skin, I'm basically interested in the pretty eggs right now, and learning all I can in case I decide to want to breed later on, so fire away! BTW, she's about 5 1/2 months in these pics (except one of the fluffy butt shots, the left one I think she's about 4 1/2 months) and she hasn't started to lay yet. She also seems big, at least compared to my other girls, though I haven't weighed her. And she's very friendly and inquisitive!

Just FYI (and no other reason), it looks like #3 "Not So Friendly" may be developing a cross beak. Thought I'd let you know in case you missed it. I recently had my wife point one out to me that I had somehow missed. How I missed it out of 30 is not a mystery to me. How she managed to see it is another story altogether.

God Bless,
