Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

I've already got 2 Easter Egger chicks and now I find out that Snow is actually an Easter Egger. So I ended up with another EE.

3? Three? You can't just have 3 of a breed....breeds must be in even numbers, it's the law. Brahahaha So you need to go out and get 7 more EE, then you will have an even number AND a very colorful egg basket.

Hurry up, you might get someone to give them to you for free, since most are downsizing flocks for the winter.

Edited to add the letter s, so it sounds more like English

I already have a flock of 8 chickens which are 4 Silkies, 1 Buff Orpington and 3 Easter Eggers.

A Solid Splash Easter Egger is what I'm thinking to get for Snow to breed with. How will their offspring look like fully grown?

Blue.

Or should I breed Snow with my Silkie cockerel?

Okay, whaat? I'm not talking about chick colors or developing colors, I'm talking about introducing a green legged EE into Ameraucanas.

This thread has gone some many different directions in the last week, I can't make heads or tail of it. I was referring to ameraucana's...because that is what this thread is about. Education of EE's or olive eggers, breeding EE's etc....should be referred to the appropriate threads. The ameraucana thread has been derailed, can we get back on track? By the way, Illia, do you have a buzzer on your computer that that rings everytime someone types ameraucana??? You are so quick on the draw.
