Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Are there any hatcheries (or anywhere else online) where I can get some real ameraucana bantams? I had actually found a place once, but now can't find it anywhere. thanks

I think he's pretty much sold out for this time of year, but www.chickhatchery.com is John Blehm's website. If you're not picky about what varieties you get, you might be able to still get some this year, just email him. ;)

yea, he's sold out. And I couldn't find a email.

His email address is on the "about" page. It's [email protected] I know his website says "sold out" but just last week he had a batch of bantam chicks (silvers and lavenders if I remember correctly) that were extras that he needed to sell...I don't know if that's something that he only offers to club members or not, but it's worth a try... ;)

Can you help me with the gender of these BW/WA 2 chicks? They are only 3 weeks old.....so.... I know it maybe too soon to tell the gender. This is going to sound silly, but I'll take any guesses. I'm just being impatient, I guess. Thanks.

ok here is a picture of the chicks feathered feet. also could these be like some ameracuana beards that just go away during the teenage faze?

I've jumped on the lavender band-wagon!! 23 lavender Ameraucana eggs into the incubator earlier today. (Parents were originally purchased as chicks from John Blehm.)
