Her body and color look like she may be ameraucana, but I have never seen a wheaten bird with legs that dark. Has she laid an egg for you?

Can you get a picture of the bottoms of her feet and of one of her wings spread out?

I will get a pic of them tomorrow in the light. She laid a sky blue egg today. Thanks guys!

Looks like a BW to me but I agree with Jean, it has exceptional leg color if it is.

Okay as requested, a shot of the underside of her foot. Sorry I was by myself and it is a bit muddy out there. My kitchen light gives everything a yellowish hue, but the true color is a light fleshy whitish color. Definitely very different to her leg color.

Her feet look the right color. Did her legs just look dark because they were in the child's shadow? What about a shot of her legs? LOL! She's lookin' pretty right so far! But I am no expert.

So excited!! My ameraucana chicks should be here today!! I am getting 5 white peeps.

I also have 5 wheaten (or maybe blue wheaten) in the brooder in the basement. How do you tell the difference in chicks?
