Okay.... I'm continuing with my pictorial log of the 3 wheaten chicks. They are 4 weeks old now. Their personalities and energy keep growing right along with their little bodies!
In this post I'm only going to show you what Honey looks like at 4 weeks because he/she was the only one Pips&Peeps (Jean) was reserving judgement on as to boy vs girl. I put in a third "pose" of the really fluffy bunns because it looks SO much like my layers. Are fluffy bunns indicative of anything at this very young age???
(as always, please click to enlarge)
For anyone following along with the full set of 3 chicks, I'll post those in a little while, once I've put together the collage.
Here are the other two. Again, just as a way to share with others new to the development of Amercauna chicks. It's fascinating to me, I love watching their personalities emerge and even change from day-to-day and week-to-week.
This is Dot, the one you all agreed is a pullet. She's very friendly, too, and quickly falls asleep when we hold her for a few minutes.
This Dash, the chick that everyone has agreed is a cockeral. No fluffy bunns here. (click to enlarge)

i would say its the other way around. which one is more aggressive or jumpy?
no one seems to have Silver duckwing on the Ameraucana site. Any ideas?
Debra Hogan is local to me and listed but does not seem to be responding to emails.
