I also still NEED someone who knows a lot more than me ( just starting with wheatens) to evaluate these for breeders I'm also just starting in Cochins but will post those somewhere else.

Ok great that's a relief I am planning to add the babies into these two for a breeding pen of wheaten/blue wheaten I hope the other hens are as nice and full as this hen.I'm trying hard to watch things like leg color...back line or top line I don't know Enough about the bottom line,but I think hers is pretty correct...tail set, eyes and head wide enough not pinched in...sigh, I am still trying to learn by reading voraciously. And using tips I learn from more experienced people.

Jean is correct, I also see 1 Blue Wheaten cockerel and 3 pullets.

Can you tell if these boys or girls? I know the one in from bigger than the others is a boy but I can't tell if it is two boys or three girls. Help

Looks like 2 boys, 2 girls to me right now. But then I had a girl that I swore was a boy until she started getting new feathers at 6 weeks. Was kind of disappointed as I wanted a boy.

Lol I liked Jeans answer better! Lol as you see I already Have a regular Wheaton boy and now this blue one, that's perfect! Don't need anymore! NOW you also have an answer I like... I thought the " girls" the three there looked like girls,the only thing throwing me was the dang dark neck ring on the one and she does have a bit darker feathers however nowhere near the look of the" boy" so I deferred to the experts!

Omg they're so cute!

Dang it, I was on a roll for awhile on sexing lol
I Still see, 2 boys and 2 girls :/
On mine at 5/6 weeks combs and neck/chest feathers had dark feathering in with the light so it was sorta obvious to me (newb) by then...
I need to go practice lol I have a whole slew on their way!

I wish I had a whole slew on the w ay...lol no I think this will be a nice pen if they all make it and we still hens...crap you see 2 boys?!! :/ REALLY? I hope Jean is right! And you are wrong.. JS lol I really was leaning the way of one boy three girls....but that one...Jean does this ALL the time right?

How early can one sex this breed. I bought 6 almost 2 months ago and they all look the same. Beautiful
