His coop card says Champion AOSB too!!!!  What show was this and who is the breeder???

It was by chance I got him. This was at the NIPA show in Mason City IA. I got him from a Mr. John McDermott. I'm very happy with him

I picked up this Wheaten roo today at a show. Opinions? He won BV and BB.

I dont raise wheatens oanything, but I think he looks beautiful. I would of bought him

Since he is a cock bird, the only things I see (which may just be the photo) is that his legs are a bit light and he looks a bit on the small side. If you can weigh him, make sure he is at 6 1/2 lbs.

Size has been an issue with this variety. Always make sure your hens are at or above standard weight too. Do not breed from anything that is underweight.
