Hi guys. I have not been on BYC for most of the summer. Now that life has calmed down I thought I'd check in.
I wanted to share a little project Im going to be working on. This is one of my wheaten roosters, that has become mottled at age 2-3 years old......

But my Roo is not an Ameraucana...he is an EE. I did get 2 new grils that are Ameraucana's though! Here are the new girls
Hopefully I have this straight....she is a buff and the other is a blue wheaten.What is the one on the left called (says a color blind person) ?

I have only been doing this for a few months so by no means am I an expert but I have read much about my birds and my EE's look a lot like yours, a white and orange (on left) and a white and black sussex/EE mix (on the right). Did someone tell you they were AM's? They don't look like the ones I read about. Just sayin...
Yes....I bought them from someone here on BYC. That picture is not great and I had the colors wrong.
