NPIP? Maybe hatching eggs...

You know I sent an email to the address they said to to see about getting NPIP certified in Arkansas, and never heard back. I've had several of my birds tested at the fair though, and they were all negative, so I'm sure I'm ok, but would like to be certified by Spring. I'll have to try another email and see if I can get an answer.

oh they really are an awful bird, just give your black ones to me . . . I'll take care of them for you!

I actually agree with some of those. I like them because of their eggs and their beauty. Mine arn't as friendly as the rest of my birds. I really just love the apperance of them and a few new ones are fairly friendly.

Ophelia is a nutcase, thus the name. Plus I work in theatre and it just seems appropriate to have a Shakespeare theme going. At the moment each line is from a different play. I figure between leg tagging and theming the names I can keep track of who hatched when.

Love Ophelia. What a great bird.

I dont have any yet but am working on it.

What do I like about them?

The sky blue eggs.

Just the overall look of the birds.

I love the nice lacing on Ophelia! Keep the thread going! My Paul Smith Pullets will get here sometime soon and I should be going to pick up two new black pullets next week.
