Nice looking chicks there! Blue, black and splash?At that age, you can't tell the leg color. This year, I had some purebred Ameraucanas with bright orange legs. They came from a well respected exhibition breeder. I was in a panic calling the breeder who said they would be fine. They were--the orange went away and they have white skin and proper colored legs. Slate is blue. Black ameraucanas can have black legs.
Ooops I meant to specify and say Ameruacana pullets at point of lay. My Ameruacana pullet's combs and Easter Egger's combs are so different from another chicken's combs I dont know what they will look like when they are about to lay.

What if you have a bird that has both colors on it's legs? Slate and black? Is that permissable?
