Have you guys noticed any personality traits peculiar to the different AM colors? Specifically dealing with good natured roosters.
I can tell you how mine are but not sure if those are the personalities across the board. My Blue Wheaten girls are extremely friendly, talkative(noisy), and pretty laid back. My Lavender roo is a dream, he is so laid back and sweet with his girls. My Lav hen is about the same, and they, along with the Blue Wheatens can be handled fairly easy. While I love my chickens, I do not make pets out of them or name them. On the BBS side, the Blue girls and the roos, most definitely, are bullies. They aren't really friendly, they just want me to feed them. The blacks hens are more skittish and not really friendly either. The splash girls seem to be the low guys in pecking order and are bossed around by the Blues and Blacks. My black roo that was my hatchling but I gave him to a friend in a group of little ones, seems to be about as laid back as my Lavender. He is still a young guy, but oh so beautiful. He does have a name, Hawkeye, but I did not name him, she did but then returned him to me since she had too many roos. She preferred the blue one over this beautiful boy.

My husband says one of the Blue roo's name is going to be dumplin if he keeps charging him when my husband's back is turned. The roo has hit him twice between the shoulders when my husband least expected it. He has other names for him but they can't be printed here.

Not yet. So far I'm just showing him pictures of NNs

I did catch him trying to get them in the mood yesterday, though

Has he tried candy, flowers and jewelry?

Naked Necks
AKA Turkens. IMO not one of the more attractive breeds. And, bizarrely someone on an EE thread has both and crossed them

A naked necked EE? Given the muffs and beards are a "hallmark" of the "not breed", it is one of those "just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you SHOULD" things.

So far the daddies of your chicks are laid back, not aggressive, but also a little flighty. I think if I didn't have so many chickens, and could spend more time with the individual birds, they would be as good as my cuckoo Marans. The blue in the OE pen will actually stand and let me pet him, and he was the alpha before I split the flocks.
I agree with the talkative hens, too. My blue and splash hens are the most vocal I have ever had

I've read or heard somewhere that the the silvers could be a little cantankerous. Just wondering. If I ever branch into another color I would like to add silvers but that's a ways off.
