I certainly never thought it could happen! But you can bet I don't let birds up on my shoulders any more! Just a side note - when he got older, he became very aggressive and ended up in freezer camp. Of course - his aggression was what set me on the path for Ameraucanas, so I guess it all worked out. Except - I still miss those earrings! Hubby has refused to buy me another pair since.

So sorry about your earrings! I had one rooster! I could tell he was going to be a problem at a very young age.

That was 6 months ago! Lol! He went to a hen house where Im sure he got lots of ...action! But the hens were annoyed cause his centerfold was a...hand! Lol!

These little chicks are fearless. I stick my hand down to change the water or give them feed and they attack my hand! No wonder they survived the trip..... they are commandos.
