I'm going to apologize in advance because I know it's a touchy subject...
Are people allowed to join both Ameraucana organizations? Ameraucana breeders club and Ameraucana alliance.
Would there be any downside to being part of both of them? I just wonder why people don't just join both.

Not a touchy subject at all. We have quite a few members that are members of both.

There is quite a bit of experience, knowledge, and wisdom in both. Like anything else, you just learn to separate the wheat from the chaff.

Seems someone thinks my Ameraucanas are great-I've been alerted that some seller called holisticpastures is using Snow's photo to sell his birds/eggs. The problem is that I cannot contact the seller, there is no option for it. I am reporting the seller for fraud.

Hopefully, we can get it fixed, but what do you do when you cannot contact a seller? On BYC, at least you can do that. I'm not trying to bring drama here, just asking if anyone ever had the issue of "the seller cannot answer your question" being the pop up when you hit the Contact Seller button.

ETA: As we do on BYC, I did try to contact the seller first. I eventually found in tiny print their web address and did send a rather scathing message to take my photo down immediately. And I did report them to Ebay through channels. Anyway, I guess Miss Snow was just so beautiful, they didn't have a hen who cut the mustard like she did, LOL!

The best bird I have, and he's getting worse...

I was talking to a breeder out west - she had gotten a black cockerel late last summer and he wasn't producing at all - I mean, zero. Now, all of a sudden, he's fertile again! Don't know what happened, but hang in there just a wee bit longer. Never know and I'd hate to see you cull that bird now.

I want to add - Jerry Segler had mentioned to me about trimming around the cock's vent. I didn't do it - ended up, I didn't need to - my rooster was just waiting for warmer weather, it seems. Jerry can explain how to do it, but it might be worth a try.
