Mea Culpa in advance for asking this question, but would really appreciate opinions.
I DO NOT SHOW and NEVER WILL SHOW OR SELL EGGS OR BIRDS. My flock is strictly for family appreciation. I'm hoping to close my flock at the end of this year - just trying to get one good Amercauana roo in addition to my one good Welsummer roo, to keep my flock going in the future. ( I have Ams, Wellies & 2 olive eggers).
I have ONE blue wheaton Ameracauna roo from breeder stock here on BYC. I have ONE wheaton hen from that same hatch -- the only ones who hatched.
If I breed him to my two black Ameracauana and one blue Ameracauna hens from previous hatches, what will the offspring look like, does anybody know?
All of these bird hatched from "blue" eggs and lay "blue" eggs, not green. All are from breeder stock, not hatchery.
Again, I do not show, never will show, just maintaining a home flock but I do want to keep this blue egg gene going.
