Congrats Jean!

I have a total of 7 eggs in the incubator from my BW girls of your stock, they are all on day 2-4. I can't wait until the end of the month!

Hello out there,
I am new to reading this thread but it was recommended to me. I am trying to determine if the chickens I hatched out last summer from what I bought as Ameracuana hatching eggs are indeed Ameracuanas or are they EEs?? They all lay beautiful blue eggs & have beards. I use to have EEs from the feed store years ago & their eggs were many different colors, blue, green, pink. The chickens themselves are quite differently colored, one from the other. Can you guys give me some guidlines to tell? I will start all over with new eggs if I need too.
Thanks
Karen

If they're all different colors, chances are they're EE's. Ameraucana breeders don't often breed more than 3 colors, and don't often sell hatching eggs as a big mix. But, photos or better description can help. Remember, green or yellow legs = EE. brown and black coloration in the form of pencilling or stripes = EE.
