For Ameraucanas, it is keeping a true breeding of slate legs, blue eggs, muffs/beard, pea comb, and the right body type.

I asked on this thread because I was here reading, but I'm not thinking of doing that with Ameraucanas...You are right, they have too many other breed things that wouldneed to be address. I was thinking of 2 other breeds that are very similar....but I'm not telling!LOL

Well just remember - Don't be too excited about selling anything or making money or getting acceptance until several generations down the road when your product breeds true to the standard.
