From what I can see of it, I'm liking his comb!

Thanks, I like his comb too, here's a straight on shot I also took yesterday that shows it alot better...
eta: went back and looked, he hatched on Jan. 22nd.

Good news indeed. I can't wait to see your show birds.

So..... you wouldn't happen to be bringing a wheaten, blue wheaten or blue Ameraucana rooster to sell, would you?

No adult or juvenile birds. Just eggs and chicks.

Hi All, I'm Valerie

I come to this thread quite often to learn a little more about the Ameraucana breed, but haven't posted yet. I have one 4 week old Wheaten/ Blue Wheaten Ameraucana and 4 new little ones that are less than a week old right now. I love the breed, and think these birds are just gorgeous (especially then Wheatens).

Since this is my first time owning the breed, I'm unsure of what to look for at this age in regards to gender identification. I've posted in the "What Breed or Gender is this?" section but haven't got many replies, so I thought I'd give it a try here since you all are more familiar with the breed.

This is my 4 week old. I'm thinking female, but again I'm not really sure what exactly to look for.
