What's the temperature where you are???

The well water is typically 3 feet down, below the frost line in the soil.

I can only dream of frost free water posts. But my water table is way too high for those, they would never self drain properly and would freeze solid here. I envy friends who are not living in low lying areas that can use those. Such time savings!
The spigots do drain back, but one time I left the garden hose attached. I got the hose off with pliers, but I had to use a propane torch to thaw the spigot.

I won't do that again...

I guess they know when to go in and out. I do keep an eye on them though.
I think the coop is finished. I just crawled out about an hour ago. Inside temp is 56 degrees. Finally got good air circulation with proper fan placement. No "cold spots".

I'm in No. Central West Virginia...it was -11 (that's not a typo, yes MINUS 11 Degrees) this morning! I hope I don't find chicken-pops when I go to feed and water this morning!

Yesterday, the radio said Alaska was averaging 40 degrees, it was -5 here at the time! I don't like the heat, but this is CRAZY COLD!

How frozen are you guys???
I'm in the Philippines and it's 90f 32c also my coscovy duck hatched 14 eggs yesterday but due to a feral cat that killed all my ducklings last time I'm bringing them inside the house.
