Here's a picture of a blue sitting on eggs. Since this is her first year laying I decided I might as well let her sit since I can't really use her eggs

And get this, I have a Cinnamon Queen....ones that aren't supposed to be broody went broody so stuck some Ameraucana and Guinea eggs under her.

I just figured since she isn't a year old and have heard you shouldn't use their first eggs that it would be best....guess I was wrong
