That's what I'm doing with my BCM while they grow up. Then I will go to numbered leg bands for the keepers.

Wing bands, all one size.

It's easier as I have multiple breeds.

Thanks, but I was thinking leg bands, different colors for different ages/matings,,,easier to see without handling the birds if I see something in the run I can note the #.

I've been thinking along those lines also for the birds I want to keep. Right now everyone is growing out together and I have BCM from 3 different breeders; used a different color ziptie for each breeder.

I think an 8 for pullets/hens and either a 121 or 14 for cockerels.

Not many people breeding LF Silvers. How come not a popular color? Who has th best silvers right now. I have some silver hens from Blehm, need to find an adult cock bird for them. Thanks.

I don't have a extra cock bird.You might try Jim Fegan of michigan.He has had LF silvers a long time check the ABC club breeders list for his contact info.
