I hatched a splash rooster from Gabbard Farms. It was part of an assortment. I would not of spent as much as they wanted for Ameraucana eggs. Well at least not at that time.

So, the eggs were hardly blue almost white. Not a place I would get eggs from ever again.

About 4/5 years ago I got an assortment from them and had a great hatch. The blue egg that hatched was an EE but it was an assortment so ..well... they sell EEs as EEs.

I just checked the site and am shocked that the pictures are exactly the same as 4-5 years ago. Those birds are likely long dead.

Also the prices seem very high for eggs from a farm that has SO many breeds. More expensive than from dedicated ameraucana breeders.

Just to follow up on my ABC membership that I sent in back in April. It was suggested that I email the Club secretary Michael to ask if he received my paperwork, so I did. I never heard back from him. (This was a few weeks ago.) I feel badly asking about this here, but I don't have access to the ABC boards. Any more advice from the long-time members?

Dana- did you try logging in as "guest"? I used to see that on there, but wasn't sure if it was non-members or members that were temporarily expired or what.

These are gorgeous. The eggs are very blue too. My Blue Splash Ameraucanas are scheduled for hatching this evening. We will see how it goes. Have 12 eggs in lockdown. I was trying to get Blue Wheatons but the person never got back to me. I so wanted them since she was local and could avoid all of the jostling. The ones I got were local too but not as close.

Man! I wish I could find an Ameraucana seller local to me. My shipped eggs turned out to be a 1 out of 9 hatch through fault of my own, I assume.

Does anyone know of an Ameraucana seller in Washington? I'm really looking for Blues but honestly I just want my poor little baby to have some company of her own kind.
