That is why there are the appropriate project threads. I don't believe this thread is intended for everyone's pet EE projects. Why do you find it rude that this thread is maintained for Ameraucanas. Lavenders have their own thread. You can call them EEs or Project colors. It is a matter of semantics.

X2... I am generally just a lurker here and don't understand why people are so put off if someone asks to stay focused on accepted ameraucanas... There are plenty of other places to discuss whatever tickles your fancy so why continually fight over the same tired issues. Just move on to where the discussions are more free flowing.... Better yet why not start a thread called Ameraucanas vs EEs where the entire thread is dedicated to arguing what is and what is not an Ameraucana. That should keep everyone happy. While there was nothing wrong with Jerry going off topic for a few minutes, he was polite enough to divert the conversation to the appropriate tread and acknowledge the fact that the conversation went off subject. While I don't speak for him I doubt he was offended at the innocuous comment about getting back on topic. No reason to pick a fight on "his" behalf, that's for sure.
