Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Thank you. I don't see any saddle feathers but the comb is more red then my splash pullet.
My blue cockerel's combs are darker than my splash cockerel's comb, I think pinker combs may be a "splash" thing. This is just something I observed, I'm no expert. Got my first Ameraucana's this spring so I'm learning.

We've gotten a couple chicks today bought as Ameraucanas
I love that they are all so different, I can't wait to watch them grow and change
Is there any way to tell if we have boys or girls???
I have a couple pics of each chick.

Those are cute Easter Eggers

I love how they come in all sorts of colors. #3 doesn't look like an EE. It has no beard and some feather stubs on it legs. And it sure looks like a rooster with that much of a comb already.

Well they are Easter eggers . Good layers of blue to blue/green eggs . I will give it a guess . #1 girl #2 boy and #3 girl . So your next question is how can I tell ? Answer: Males feather slower . Shorter tail on # 2 . # 3 seems a little older so I could be off on that one .

And so our CHicken adventures continue...LOL
Well we'll keep with the photo documentation and see, These guys along with a Old English Game Bantam will be hanging here at the house for another week
so the girls can enjoy them, and they can get used to being handled daily

Thanks I guess I'm off to find a EE thread...LOL
