No problem. I was gonna go out and take some but i found a folder with these decent ones

Does anyone have any clear pics of their Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas? I'm looking to get some this spring and from what I've seen I love them but I haven't found very many pics that were clear. I love outdoor pics as it give me a clearer idea of what they'll actually look like. My DH says he'd like black but I'd like to show him a good pic of the blue wheatens and see if he wouldn't like them as well. Thanks!
The chick is only about 6 weeks old here I think. Definitely a rooster! The larger rooster is not mine. Just a pic I downloaded a while ago because I liked it. Back when I thought my EE roo was an Ameracauna.

Hello! I am thinking about getting some Wheaten Ameraucanas to add to my current flock. What sort of personality should one expect with a true Ameraucana? My current flock consists of Dominiques, Marans, and two Swedish Flowers. Any info is appreciated!

I have not found them to be aggressive or very flighty. Some are friendly and inquisitive, others tend to avoid. I think it just varies depending on how much contact you have with them on a daily basis. I have a rooster I can walk right up to and pick up while all the other males do their best to escape me. They all calm down once caught and held. The same can be said of the hens. Some are nosey and under your feet, others keep their distance. It really depends on what the breeder has been doing. If they have been breeding aggressive birds, some of the offspring may be aggressive also.
