well the roo is small compare to a LF but he is probably bigger than a bantam. Im guessing the parents had bantam in the background. They're in between, ill hatch some eggs and see what comes out. but i definitely wanted LFthose look like LF to me....
No problem. I was gonna go out and take some but i found a folder with these decent onesThanks Bunches!!! Nice pics!![]()
The chick is only about 6 weeks old here I think. Definitely a rooster! The larger rooster is not mine. Just a pic I downloaded a while ago because I liked it. Back when I thought my EE roo was an Ameracauna.Does anyone have any clear pics of their Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas? I'm looking to get some this spring and from what I've seen I love them but I haven't found very many pics that were clear. I love outdoor pics as it give me a clearer idea of what they'll actually look like. My DH says he'd like black but I'd like to show him a good pic of the blue wheatens and see if he wouldn't like them as well. Thanks!
haha okay i can definitely see the difference now. these guys have that bantam pigeon trait and mine have the dull chicken look. do you know if bantam were created by using bantam breeds or just bred smaller and smaller every generation?
Hello! I am thinking about getting some Wheaten Ameraucanas to add to my current flock. What sort of personality should one expect with a true Ameraucana? My current flock consists of Dominiques, Marans, and two Swedish Flowers. Any info is appreciated!
