Is his breast black or brown? A brown/red should have a black breast. He looks like a brown/red to me, but it depends on whether he has a black breast. He also should have a crow wing, not a duckwing (brown flight feathers). The true test would be to breed him against a brown/red female and see what you get.

Thank you! These 3 hatched out yesterday and the 4th is still drying out. Only 4 out of 9 hatched as the eggs were from shipped eggs. I am not complaining! LOL

We have three Americaunas that look just like your girl "Snow"! They are pretty awesome, we have had them since they were babies and they love to be petted and picked up and hugged!

Alright so my Ameraucana are a week old. And Some will be tomorrow. So out of my hatch I had 6. And someone said that you might be able to sex them by when their tail comes in at 1 week. We'll I have 5 with tails fester and 1 without. So if this theory is right I have 5 pullets and 1 cockerel. Right?

Just wanted to post pictures of my wheaten pair, my blue and blacks. I lost my blue rooster to a predator 2 weeks ago

of course, just in time for breeding season. So grateful to have lined up a new blue cockerel! Hopefully I can go pick him up soon.

I am confused...about the Ameraucana? I hear people call them E.E when I got mine they were called Ameraucana what is the difference except E.E easier to say. My chickens look exactly like yours....
