Do you have Wheaten and Blue Wheaten?

They're supposed to be Blue Wheaten. But this AM I'm noticing a trend! Lol 7 of the 9 are definitely different!

It is! My chicks are looking and acting pretty good this morning

how are your little babies today!? Of course at this point yours are getting bigger!! Mine just seem to feel really good this morning and that makes me happy

they have all made it through the first week!!

I put a thing in the chicks house to teach them to roost! Not one roosted on it! My last batch of BCM slept on the floor till 17 weeks old. Every night I would go out and put them on the roost! I was about ready to put them in a pot! Learn to roost or soup!!!

I sold most of them! I still have 4 Ameraucanas and 1 BCM that sleep in the nest! Every night I put them on the roost! Picture of the thing! If I where a three week old chick I would like a gym to climb on! The first tier is about 12" off the ground!

It took my original flock forever to get used to having a coop! Lol.

What the heck! I hit reply and my message vanished!! When our birds got their chicken coop it took almost 3 weeks for them to go in 100% of the time! I would go out and put them inside the coop night after night! Lol

You sould get a lot done on your chicken house in a week! My poor bunnies! The pen was to have two areas where they could be seperate but have lots of room! Right! Now it's going to be a chicken pen! Its about 8ft x 27 ft. They would have loved it!

Just a thought - but maybe try wood rather than metal perch? Maybe a 3" rounded top wood perch? I have a 2" rounded top wood perch and even my LF like it.
