Since he is gone....RIP!!!!  I get first dibs on the Splash Ameraucana Rooster and the Blue Copper Marans hen and a Black Copper Rooster!!! Will miss him but his chickens will help heal my pain!

I have 18 black and self blue Ameraucana eggs finishing up development, going into lockdown tomorrow with 63 others. I'll have baby pictures next weekend!

I've missed something. Where did you guys get your eggs from?

Mine were from Arizona, from a member of the ABC. Was hoping a closer state and a little higher altitude would help, but not enough.

I may order some chicks

If I were you, I would definitely order chicks. Do you happen to know what Sidewing's elevation is compared to yours?

I'm probably going to owe him eggs because of Johnny, anyway, but I would love to see him have a high hatch rate. He got 28 eggs, but 17 were from the black rooster...
