I'm doing well. I'm fussing over my little Bielefelder girl, she doesn't seem to be doing well. She hatched a day after all the other chicks and I ended up helping her out because she got stuck. She seems a lot less thrifty and she has a weird clicking sound when she breathes heavily. So, after I grab her from the brooder before she calms down she clicks.... I hope she makes it.

Like a respiratory infection....I hope she makes it too..can she have anything to help her?

I don't know, she hatched that way. I'm wondering if she messed up one of her airsacs trying to hatch out after she was stuck before I found her. She also has a really tiny vent, but I did see some poo on her down so I think she's pooping at least. Maybe she is just a bit delayed seeming because the others all hatched a day or 2 before her.

I said goodbye to my pretty boy with the crooked beak yesterday.. He went to a good home

Got my first 2 chicks hatched from my pullet out of Seglers eggs and the new Lav Shaffer cock... very happy with how they look so far...

My first hatch from my 3 older blue wheaten hens and a new 2 year old blue wheaten rooster. Some lovely blue wheatens, two blues and a black chick in with a group of white Leghorn hybrids I'm working on.

That is a very nice muff and beard. If it was dark blue I would think it was one of ours

I'm keeping my eye on one of our blues. I'm afraid he's starting to slip a little, too. I will handle that a little differently. Worst part of hatching...

When I had the polish, I gave one away to someone who bought others. It made it about 3 months...

Oh the floofs! I still can't believe how fluffy Cocoa puff's face is! I love these little faces! I love the mug on the last chickie, "She's ready for her close up" Haha
