What color is my 12 week teenager? I named her/him Rock N Rye expecting a red-brown.

That's an Easter Egger. She's a silver partridge type coloring, but not the right coloring for Silver Ameraucana.

Not true. Wheaten is not a solid color. Neither is Silver, or Brown Red.

Bird in pic #1 is an Easter Egger, her legs should be grey. She's very pretty though!
#2 I don't believe is white, her head is grey. There are founders and breeder's and club members on this thread that are extremely knowledgable though, they can tell you better and every one of them is really nice and very helpful

I guess silver is more of a pattern. I apologize. I meant to say usually not patterned. The majority of what we see on here with a pattern is not Ameraucana. Thank you for the correction.

I have a small flock of 10 week old birds. They are a EE's, OE's and a few true Ameraucanas. There are two that confuse me though. One person said the blue is pure and the white is half, but another person said the blue is half and the white is pure. Can you all give me your thoughts? Thank you.

Yes, those are Easter Eggers, but they are gorgeous birds, regardless.

What is this white 12 week hen/roo? Obviously she doesn't have cheek poofs. She's totally bow legged too. She's special. She sits a lot due to her leg condition I'm thinking.
