For what it is worth (maybe nothing), I looked up the website. Here is a link to their Ameraucana page. I'm sure those in the know would be able to pick out any non AMs in the pictures.

And I have no idea if they keep their free ranged breeds separated by breed at all times. Could be they have some pure AMs but the fertile eggs could be EEs.
Every photo on that page is of an Easter Egger that they claim as Ameraucanas. Like Chubby Checker sang in the Limbo Rock..."How low can you go?"
I'm not sure but their ad sais the eggs are purebred. I'm thinking about messaging them. Maybe it was an honest mistake and they just sold me easter egger chicks by accident?
I sound really neve don't I lol...
Just from the first pic that was posted, those are definite EE's... mixed colors... after seeing their page, I am sickened... they did their research to know the differences and even state the listed accepted colors and still advertise in that manner?? Ugh...
X2
I completely agree...
No, you don't... you sound like you look for the best in people... unfortunately there is no mistake there... I might have thought that before seeing their page, but there is no excuse for researching and finding out the difference and still going ahead with using an incorrect label... that's just wrong in my opinion...
.....I still think that splash is a pullet....not sure how "red" her comb's gotten in the last few weeks? (Sorry if my weeks are wrong) but the first pic looks like maybe a true representation of the comb in natural lighting to me.
Have you seen any saddle feathers starting or longer tail feathers? Unless you've seen major bullying going on or pecking at its tail feathers I would say she never had any to start with! Unless I stand corrected congratulations it's a girl![]()
I have never been so back and forth on a chicken my life. lol I saw several splash feathers awhile back. Time will tell. I currently have a black hen and roo, 3 blue hens and 2 roos and possibly 2 splash hens.
He is gorgeous! Looking like he has a lot of potential to be a star!I like him! He is very pretty! I don't know enough about standards to give any input ! I just know what I like! Maybe someone else can give input!
