Your breeder said they were PROBABLY 2-3 weeks old? I thought people who bred kept better records than that. In any case I would say they are older simply based on the amount of feathering.

Not always. My friend breeds all kinds, and they are all kept together in huge areas, and she can only guesstimate how old they are, so I never really know how old my chicks are

As of 2:15 today the eggs are a full 18 days. They ae now a little over 3 hours into the nineteenth day. This morning one of the eggs had rolled over toward another egg. An hour later it was back in it's spot. They have been twitching all day!

ETA: In just a few very, very long days from now there will be tiny Ameraucanas in the incubator!

ONE OF MY BBS AMERAUCANA EGGS HAS PIPPED!!!!! They are seven and a half hours into day 20.
