I am just not into the Lavender. I like Porcelain but to me the Lavender is boring. I know I am in a huge minority here, heck I may be the only person that does not like the lavender.

Some day I'll make Coronation

Oh now I love Coronation. I am thinking of getting Coronation Sussex one of these days.

I just wanted to post a comment about some of the birdies pictured because a member pm'd me about the leg colors of some of the birds.

Anyway:

The wheaten, blue wheaten and buff varieties of ameraucana all hatch out with very light colored legs. As the bird matures, the leg color is supposed to change to slate; sometimes this does not happen on all the birds.

The birds that end up with the light legs should not be used for breeding. They are still true ameraucanas, just not breed worthy.

I lost one of my Black pullets today !!!

It has been really rainy and cold here and she is out in a chicken tractor. Yesterday I gave them Tylan in their water because I noticed she was puffed up. I am really glad I quarentine my new birds! The other three look good but I am really worried. Here is my post about them instead of side tracking please post any thoughts about it here just wondering if any of you could help. I am pretty upset she was a good looking girl and I am sad to lose her but I am really worried about my other birds and losing the whole trio ! https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=261373

Thanks,
Henry
