Here are a few pictures of those adorable fluffy butts from Jean.They are doing great..even my weak one has decided it's more fun to go to flight school with the other kids in the box than be dumpy in the corner

Problem I have now I WANT more of these silver's!! The blue is something special..it has a look that says Watch out here I come-that or See my cheeks! All are just adorable..Skippy my only Buff will now have something that looks like her-maybe this will be Smuckers or Jiff.My kids tend to name the chickens something sweet or something they like.Thankfully they can't name them all

Thank you! I can't wait either! I've only seen Lavender chicks in photos.

I put the 3 pullets with the cockerels once already, but the girls weren't impressed by their new BF at all. They'd been laying for a couple weeks, but they just froze up.

Well, the last few days I've seen one of the Lavender boys breeding at least one of the hens, twice, so I separated all 7 of the girls this time into a breeding pen.....without the boys this time. I know at least 3 of the girls are laying, because I've found 3 eggs in one day. I just hope they don't freeze up on me again!

It's all in the camera It's a 10x zoom so you can take close ups from so far away you can hardly see the subject.The little silver girl fell over when the flash went off..poor baby was so scared-a real chicken about things already

Now,I have been culling my EE and Ameraucana pen like crazy-making several locals happy they are getting some fine EE stock.Need some space for Silver's

I got my Ameraucana hen this morning that I bought in the auction from Pips & Peeps. I got a call from my mailman and he offered to bring the bird right over to me! That was a pleasant surprise. I got her out of the box and she is just beautiful! Plus, it was like opening a box of Cracker Jacks. There was a surprise in the box! Can you find it?
