Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

My guy is changing almost daily. It's so fun to watch this color variety grow up! Here he is yesterday on his first day outside at three-and-a-half weeks old.

I know blue wheaton & wheaton ameraucanas can be sexed by their feather coloring - at what age can this be done? When do the cockerels & the pullets start to look different fom each other?

I think mine were about 4 weeks and we were positive who was who. You want to watch for dark feathers coming in on their backs. That hatch I had all girls
