Thanks I'm counting down the days. These guys have lived indoors most of their lives any ideas on how to get them acculmated to living outdoors? All my birds live out side in runs and coops.

I would say keep them in the coop for the first few days and then let them out into the run if that is possible. Most of my Faverolles have been cage raised and they seem to acclimatize very well and enjoy foraging and eating grass. I pasture all of my chickens on dry days meaning I use moveable runs that shift with the coop around the yard about once a week or every two weeks depending on the number of birds living inside.

I am so excited I can hardly stand it! Just checked USPS and my babies from Pips and Peeps are in Houston-only one hour away!

Cannot focus enough to teach my girls school today! Waiting for the phone to ring!!!!!!!

I still have 5 cockerels from Jean who need a new home fast. 3 white, 2 black/lavender -almost 2 months old. GORGEOUS with great personalities!

Anybody close to Houston looking for some?
