I am new to Ameraucanas, and got a Blue male from Jean's line last year to hatch, and he and a Seabright mom Blue girl made these two. I am now getting this darker blue color with their offspring. I am not sure if this is a desired Blue color? I see many different shades of Blue. Sorta think she should be lighter in color. Eerything else about these two I like. They were a first week of January hatch. Hope to hatch out 20 or so more to grow out and compare.
You seen these two before, were just checkin back in with new today pics.

Hi Everyone,
I have some nice Blue hens and need to find a rooster for them, I dont even care if its eggs that I have to hatch or even a young roo.
Id like a Black Rooster but at this point Black Blue or Splash would do. I do want it to have been from a nice color eggs also.
So can anyone help me? I hope so..

I have 2 extra cockerels, one blue and one black. But the blue is cleanfaced, so that's up for your own preference or not. The black is perfectly good though. They're both 3 months old, and come from very good blue eggs, but as a note I do live over 3 hours away from you.

OH!! I forgot, I also a couple other blue/black cockerels, about 7 weeks old. The blue comes from a great egg, the blacks are okay. A tad on the green side but not too much.

They both look lovely. However, when you cross an Ameraucana with another breed, the offspring are Easter Eggers, and are no longer purebred. Since Easter Eggers are basically a mixed breed, there is no color restriction. Whatever color you like best is the one you should breed for. I also have a blue Easter Egger project going

I think they meant that the byc user name of the person they got the hen from was "sebright mom"....
