yahoo!!!

Were you still interested in the Director position? If someone gets enough write ins to beat me they will be get the position, but if I am elected as Director and President, either John or I will have to appoint someone.

Let me know so we can spread the word.

pips&peeps :

For those of you who are members of the ABC, we have an election coming up and no one has been nominated for President and no one has shown any inclination of wanting to do the job, so I am throwing in my hat.

When you get your ballot write my name in if you wish to vote for me.

Thanks,

Is it too late to join the ABC so my vote can count?

I'm taking a trip to New York in October!

Are there any Ameraucana breeders up North that will have eggs or chicks?

I have had some beautiful chicks hatch from my BW pair (there are also two buff leghorn chicks in this group). So far I am very pleased, no stripes or dark colors on these babies. I can't wait to see how they feather out!

These chicks are super fluffy and looks like they will have great beards and muffs.

My BW & Wheaten pullets decided they wanted to take some pictures today, (normally they never hold still!) these girls were hatched from Jean's eggs on April 1st, they're 19 weeks old. I'm still waiting on blue eggs...

I have no idea how they compare to the standard, I think their color is gorgeous though.

Fiona has some black ticking in her hackles, would this be considered a fault?

And my boy, Claude. He's living with the older ladies now because he couldn't behave...
(His wing was injured by an unknown predator, it's covered with Blu-Kote, he's healing though.)

Thanks,

You've got my vote Jean. You'll do a great job... So glad you are willing to step up... maybe once I retire, I'll have time to help more...

Absolutely GORGEOUS... Jean just has some beautiful birds. I'll have to take a pic of one of my blue wheaten hens out of her eggs.. She too is gorgeous... And she went broody on me! (hatched Jan 1st)

I can't wait to see what I get out of her and Geoffry my roo... I'll be hatching in Dec/Jan... I wish I could do a test hatch now but DW would have a fit.

Jeremy your hens are really nice, Claude has too much dark striping in his hackles but combined with your hens you might end up with 'cleaner' babies.
