The last one _ (slivery grey with reddish areas and lacing) - is the correct terminology "Splash Blue Wheaton" or Splash Wheaton" or "Splash" ?

Thank you

Yup, my Claude is a BW. Your birds are (in order of pics) BW, Wheaten, Wheaten and then Splash Wheaten. Some people refer to them as Splash Blue Wheatens, or Splash Wheatens. I think either is alright.

HappyMtn, his toe is definitely crooked, I've tried bending it back...

It always just curves right back into place. I think the wire bottom of my incubator might have broken it as a chick, we tried splinting it but he wouldn't keep the "cast" on for more than a few hours before he figured out how to get it off!

He is quite stocky, though he's a lot shorter than my Delaware rooster. Is there a certain height that the SOP calls for?

Next I'll try to get close up pics of the hens so you can help me understand which are which on those.

On the girls, the Wheatens will be the ones with the black in the tail, where the BWs will have a slate gray color, and the splash wheatens will have white.

All my girls have black in their tails to some extent. Some have a dark greyish/slate color showing through on the saddle area but it's just an "under-color" and not actually in the feathers, None of them are white but a few are very pale colored on their bellies. Not sure what you mean. Sorry - Just a Novice

It's the ends of the tail feathers that will let you know what color they definitely are. Any black will be wheaten girls. BW & SW will NOT show black anywhere. If you hold onto that splash wheaten roo you can make lots of blue wheaten babies ;D

My DH doen't get "chicken math" He thinks "8 to 10" meant less than 11 birds. Through good fortune and dumb luck we have this many but he's still stuck on the numbers, pressing for it to be brought down.

..I don't know about more babies. That might bring the true count to over 30 which is more than 11.
