I realize these are some pretty aweful pics, but, out of the three cockerels, which one would you sell? I have to make that decision tomorrow, and it's HARD. To me, they are all beautiful. These are Jean Ribbeck kids. I will try to get better pics, just been really busy lately. Thanks!

Check their eyes to see if they have bay eyes. Then check over their backs to see if you can find any yellow feathers in the hackles or saddles, if you find any get rid of that bird.

The darker splash birds tend not to get the leakage as bad as the light ones.

I like the top line on the first two and if I had to make a split decision, I would get rid of the third one. But, it's just a picture and he may not look that way in real life.

Jeremy I want you to know especially.

Just got my eggs from Jean (pipsnpeeps)

13 beautiful eggs and the best packaging I have ever seen out of dozens of shipped eggs.

Jean, I'm stealing packaging techniques from you.

Got them all setting out till tomorrow when they go in the cooker..

Come on my little Lav and Split Lav babies!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry that is really funny,...and that is coming from an "alternative" thinking person...

How about simple weight, cockerels stand taller and start putting on more weight. IMO 9 out of 10 times that is correct.. Combine that with pointy long hackle feathers, more sparing, the comb thing.. and you have identified 80% of the cockerels at 8 or 9 weeks..

ON
Gosh is that funny.. I am still laughing...
