Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Far as I've read and have been told, yes - Because splash varies too much. You can't ask for an actual standard on their color, as I don't think you can actually breed splash to look in a specific way. I myself have a good variety - My splash Araucanas are beautifully marked but only towards the bodily area, with hardly any smudging between colors, while my splash Jersey Giants are very smudged but evenly marked, their blue is extremely pale, and I've yet to have a splash Ameraucana.

He's got green legs, which Cuckoo Marans would not pass on, and he's got the standard Easter Egger coloring of dominant white over duckwing.

I'm ok with it just being an EE. I got him and the Maran as new chicks to be company with a sole survivor of a bad hatch. That chick ended up being a hen!
