I think my post just ahead of the color question redirected and posted just as the color question was asked, so I just hit press reply again and typed it up real quick!

Good idea on directing them to the club website.

Mind you, I did it all on my phone, too.

Not bad, not bad! If I typed on my phone with my fat thumbs I would have likely given the autotrader website!

yes we got wheaten pullets from him last fall and they are now laying-one a pale blue egg and the other a green/blue color- we also hatched out 8 chicks from them with our wheaten rooster. The chicks are 3 weeks old and doing good.

Don't say that about your thumbs, you'll hurt their feelings!

May I add to Jeremy that you are very unlikely to find a Brown Red.

And Jeremy, I think you're right. The ABC only lists the 8 colors.

Which is a good thing... sorta.

Because if they were easily accessible I would already own some!

Who has good Silver Ameraucanas? I love that color, too, but it seems to be fairly neglected. LOL I'd love to see lots of pics!

What are the most common problems with the color?

I've only heard good things about John Blehm's birds, I'm getting three Silver chicks from him at the end of the month, so we'll see!

I believe Jean is selling Silver hatching eggs again from her birds, which she outcrossed to blacks to improve the line. I bet only good things will come from hers, too.
