If you crack one of those eggs I would love to see the inside of that shell. That is very interesting from an Ameraucana

Jean I hope my little Lav pullet Lavern I hatched from your eggs does work like that!

I lost my little cockerel, so she's all alone until some other lavs get big enough to hang out with her. The bigger birds chase her off and she torments the younger chicks, so I hope they grow quick and she makes friends.

I have a question. I have 4 Ameraucana eggs and two have pipped ( they're due tomorrow ) one has pipped in the fat end and the other has pipped in the pointy end...that's bad isn't it?

What does that mean? Is there anything I can do?

I had one do that and it took 34 hours to hatch and when it popped off the top it was upside down with its feet up in the air

I don't know how it managed to zip that way. I would wait at least 12 hours and see if it makes it out on its own. They will surprise you!
GOOD LUCK!
