Here are some cute pics of my last hatch. My LF Lavender Ameraucana chick and AmyJ's Bantam Lav Ams.

And one more of my Lav Am...I just love those cheeks! These chicks make me happy.

Today is day 23 and none of my Ameraucana eggs even have pips

So sad. I already had a bunch of Marans that hatched. Come on blue eggs! I wonder when I should give up, day 24? day 25?

If none have pipped yet, I would candle them. A couple minute drop in humidity won't be an issue if there is no exposed membranes. You will be able to tell if any have internally pipped the air sac.​

I just picked up 2 chicks from the feed store, they claim they are ameraucana but of course I'm doubtful of their heredity anyway the reason I'm posting is I have a question on the colors it seems they have been added to in byc's breed page and am wondering the true accepted colors of this breed my chicks are yellow.with muffs.
