Very nice! You'll want to use roo #1. Gold leakage is a pain to breed out and he will probably show more as he matures. He'd still be good for an olive egger project or something along those lines

Agreed, but watch out - If he's from the same hatch/breeding as the others, chances are one of the hens also carries leakage, but hens don't have the patterning to show it. The number one reason why people consistently get leakage in their breeding is failure to realize what hens carry it too.

Here's a few pictures of my blue pullet girl..question is...how long before she lays for me..she's 21 weeks old now..

Shouldn't be at least for another week telling by the comb though.

Oh I hope it's not for more than a couple of weeks, I've been waiting and waiting to see the color of egg she lays. She came from blue/green egg..more on the blue side..pretty egg. She was walking up closer and closer to me to see what in the world I was doing with that "thing" that clicked and flashed.

Since you looked at thee comb....what kind of comb is that? It looks like a rosecomb in a couple of the pictures.

Walt

I've seen that in some lavender splits, where it's still a pea comb, it's just funky and narrow at the top...

Not a rose comb, I know rose comb..don't care for them, except on Wyondottes.

I'll see if I can get a better close up front shot. She should come to me pretty quick. Oh, and I don't use a real fancy camera..kind of hard to keep a real light picture from happening..but, it works ok.

Maybe this shows the comb better?

Looks like a pea comb to me.

Looking from the top, I think I see what you mean, but it's just the pink at the base of the nasal cavity you're seeing, moving on up to the thin point at the back is just her very narrow comb. I've got some Ameraucanas with a narrow pea comb like that too.

Here's an up close example.
