Ameraucana thread for posting pictures and discussing our birds

Don't give her away- just get more!

Aye - get a white Ameraucana roo to woo her and make babies!

I've already got 2 Easter Egger chicks and now I find out that Snow is actually an Easter Egger. So I ended up with another EE.

the nice thing about white isit well make u white when breed to white in 1 or 2 generation u could have lovely ameraucanas

All the babies will have slate legs

Green and Willow alike are recessive, and so breeding in a green legged Easter Egger will just cause trouble, allowing consistent green or willow legged offspring to haunt the future generations for a long time.

3? Three? You can't just have 3 of a breed....breeds must be in even numbers, it's the law. Brahahaha So you need to go out and get 7 more EE, then you will have an even number AND a very colorful egg basket.

Hurry up, you might get someone to give them to you for free, since most are downsizing flocks for the winter.

Edited to add the letter s, so it sounds more like English

Depending on what the Splash Easter Egger really is (splash duckwing, solid splash, etc) and depending on if the hen is dominant or recessive white, (most likely dominant) - You'll have offspring that are all either blue, blue with red leakage, white, or white with bits of blue and red leakage.
